ABOUT HARRY

Based in the UK and working internationally, Harry has directed Plays and Musicals, with a focus on New Writing and Adaptations.

A Graduate of ArtsEd London, Harry is a motivated and passionate Theatre Director with a strong background in movement, always looking for new challenges and opportunities.

In Education, Harry has worked on projects for Drama schools both in the UK and abroad, recently assisting on the 3rd Year MT showcases for ArtsEd.

Upcoming:

Harry recently Directed his first Pantomime, Blue Genie's 'Beauty and the Beast' at The Playhouse, Whitley Bay. He also directed 'The Elves and the Shoemaker' -his fifth Christmas show for Simply Theatre, Switzerland.

In Development:

Harry is currently developing a new musical alongside MD Flynn Sturgeon.

And that's a wrap on 'A Littler Night Music' - Had a lot of fun over the past five weeks working on an abridged version of 'A Little Night Music' with the incredibly talented @artsedlondon 2nd years. Anyone who says you can't do a two and half hour musical in forty five minutes is....correct....but turns out you can do it in an hour and ten!

Tomorrow we head into tech for ‘Beauty And The Beast’ at The Playhouse, Whitley Bay.

It’s my first time directing a Panto, and it’s been a whirlwind, especially having to finish rehearsals for Switzerland one day, and start rehearsals for BnB the next, but I’ve loved it!

It’s been a busy year, so busy I’ve been neglecting this page!

Here’s a little look at what I spent my October doing as a director/creative:

Cardiff Halloween Festival and Scarefest 2024!

I was privileged to be involved in almost all of the creative decisions of this event, from concepts, design, scriptwriting, and of course directing!
